Privacy, GDPR

To avoid possible ambiguity, we will use the following terms:

Nareiko or "we", "us", "our(s)"– Lauras Nareiko, owner of Nareiko.com ideas marketplace, 

Product – any and all things for sale on Nareiko.com submitted by contributors (sellers) to Nareiko, be it text, video, audio or other files containing an idea, its description, and public data about the seller.

Sellers – a person who submits their Products for sale on Nareiko.com.

Buyer – a person who has purchased a Product on Nareiko.com.



For Sellers

When you submit your product to us, you provide some personal data:

1. OPTIONAL: Data to be published along with the idea description:

     a. Your first and last name.

     b. Your photograph.

     c. Your description of yourself (yourselves).

2. REQUIRED: Contact and payment details for communication with Nareiko

     a. Your first and last name.

     b. Your contact details: email, phone number (this one is optional), full postal address.

     c. Your sufficient banking details to send you the money received from the Buyer.

We will keep the above-mentioned data securely (i) in the cloud storage provided by Google for Finland, as well as (ii) locally in Finland.

We will keep this data for the following time and purposes:

1) If the Seller’s Product is not accepted for sale by Nareiko – one month at most after the Seller have submitted the Product, or, if earlier, till the Seller asks to remove this data.

The data will only be used for:

     a) Evaluation of the Product’s suitability for sale, and 

     b) Possible communication with the Seller about the Product.

2) If the Seller’s Product is accepted for sale by Nareiko – as long as the Seller’s Product is offered for sale by Nareiko plus one month at most.

The data will be used for:

     a) Evaluation of the Product’s suitability for sale, 

     b) Possible communication with the Seller about the Product, and

     c) Presenting the Product to potential Buyers.

3) If the Seller’s Product got sold by Nareiko – as long as the Seller’s Product continues to be offered by Nareiko plus ten full calendar years at most. The reason for such a long term is the requirement of the Finnish taxation law to keep the relevant data for ten years.

The data will be used for:

     a) Evaluation of the Product’s suitability for sale, 

     b) Possible communication with the Seller about the Product,

     c) Presenting the Product to potential Buyers,

     d) Settlements with the Seller and/or corresponding Buyers,

     e) Resolution of relevant disputes or litigations, in which this data may be reasonably required, and

     f) Taxation reporting and other requirements from public authorities in Nareiko’s jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to update our privacy rules at any time.



For Nareiko.com visitors and buyers

This e-shop is developed on the platform of Prestashop.com. It uses Stripe payment gateway from https://stripe.com/.

The owner of the e-shop does not aim to collect any personal data from visitors, but these platforms (Prestashop and Stripe) require some information when customers place and pay their orders. Additionally, the Prestashop platform of this e-shop places some functional cookies in your browser when you visit this e-shop (see more about cookies below).

You do not need to register (create an account) in this e-shop to buy anything: it is possible to buy products without registration.

What data do we collect?

When you register as a customer, the Prestashop platform of this e-shop asks you to provide your first and last name, email and password. Additionally, it asks you to specify your address for invoices. Nareiko does NOT share or sell this information to anyone, it is used only 

o To fulfill your order (e.g., to send you a link to the purchased product),

o For taxation purposes,

o To inform you about changes to this privacy policy or in case of problems affecting you,

o To communicate with you upon your initiative.

This data is stored securely (i) in Europe, on the server offered by Bluehost Inc., one of the global leaders in website hosting services, and (ii) locally in Finland.

We will keep this data for ten full calendar years at most, starting from the nearest January 01. The reason for such a long term is the requirement of the Finnish taxation law to keep the relevant data for ten years.

When you pay in this e-shop, the Stripe platform asks you to provide the payment information according to your selected way of payment. We do not have access to this data and Stripe, Inc. processes it according to their privacy policy. (See more about it at www.stripe.com. What are your data protection rights?

Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request us for copies of your personal data. If you have registered an account in our shop, you can view all your data in the section GDPR - PERSONAL DATA there.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct your personal data that you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete your personal data if you believe it is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data. If you have registered an account in our shop, you can do it yourself in the section GDPR - PERSONAL DATA there.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer your personal data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

If you make a request regarding your personal data, we will respond you as fast as possible, but the latest one month since we have received your request. If you would like to exercise any of these rights above, you can either do it yourself in the section GDPR - PERSONAL DATA of your account or please contact us at our email:

     In particular, if you want us to delete your data, we will take a proper action as soon as possible, for example:

     1) Data collected by Prestashop (your customer account): We can delete your customer account and all data in it manually,

     2) Data collected by Stripe: We can contact Stripe, Inc. asking them to remove any remaining data connected with you.
